MIIRRORS (Spelled with two "I"s is a Chicago based band that was formed from veteran musicians, who had been friends for 20 years and decided to make an album. The talent on this album "Motion and Picture" is immeasurable. Shawn Rios, and Brian McSweeney can put so much into each song, that throughout the album, each song sounds often like it is from a totally different band. Some of their stuff would be called "The American version of Interpol" some of their work has U2, Muse, and Freddie Mercury vocals, IN THE SAME SONG. They often are compared to Jeff Buckley, Slowdive, and My Bloody Valentine. From singing against materialistic lifestyles, or "Big Brother" ruling our worlds today, and we can't go back, or songs about coal miners, there is so much for thought, and also just as much room for interpretation in their music. This album is brand new, and it packs quite a punch for powerful thought provoking lyrics, and the music will take you wherever it wants to go as well. Probably one of the best new albums I have heard from a "new" band this year. facebook [https://www.facebook.com/miirrorsmusic/] bandcamp [http://miirrors.bandcamp.com/] spotify [https://open.spotify.com/album/6BbjU80O8SBr0AVKNIdSDG] #jeffbuckley #nickdrew #miirrors #chicagobands #ministry #brianmcsweeny #shawnrios #slowdive #mybloodyvalentine
