Codependency is a response to trauma. Trauma can be in the form of neglect. It can be in the form of abuse. It can be in the form of rejection. It can be in the form of death, grief. Trauma affects us all differently. Some of us run from it some of us run towards it. Some of us are strong. Some of us need help, but at the end of the day, we all struggle to overcome the challenges that we deal with in life.
