In this message, Pastor Dom talks about overcoming the victim mentality. In John 5 Jesus challenged someone who considered themselves a victim by asking them ‘do you want to be made well?’ The first step to overcoming our victim mindset is having the desire to be made well. We can’t stay where we are, we need to leave the comfort of our dysfunction in order to get up and walk in all that God has for us. This is what it means to apply faith - to believe that we have already received the breakthrough we’re looking for. We are not conquered, we are more than conquerors! We are not victims, we are victors! We are not overcome, we are overcomers!
