D'mario Sowah shares his personal story of overcoming adversity: As a young child, D'mario was kidnapped and forced to be a child soldier in Africa. He was eventually rescued and then moved to NY to live with his mother who later died from a tragic car accident. D'mario is now a successful owner of Strong Fitness gym in West Hartford, Connecticut and is a well-renowned trainer--training celebrities such as Stephen A. Smith (ESPN personality), Diane Smith (co-author of the best selling book "Obsessed: America's Food Addiction--And My Own"), and Joe Furey (meteorologist from Fox CT).
