Tell their Stories is a multi-media project that aims to give a voice to individuals who have been affected by long-term incarceration. Whether they are currently incarcerated or are beginning the process of re-entering the community, their stories deserve to be told. Incarcerated people are often dehumanized, neglected, or completely forgotten by society. Re-entry can be a complex and strenuous process, especially for those who have been incarcerated for decades. The goal of this project is to treat incarcerated or formerly incarcerated people as human beings first, and to give them a chance to tell their stories.
