Amanda Brunker has been in the public eye since the age of 17 when she won Miss Ireland.Since then she's worked as a model, a newspaper columnist, a radio presenter and, by her own admission, appeared on nearly every reality TV show ever made in Ireland. The first of her three novels, Champagne Kisses, was launched by Bono, and she's recently written and directed a radio play called Curiosity.It's fair to say she's had an interesting life, so it was a pleasure to chat with her about how it all began in the world of beauty contests, how that experience changed her life, as well as talking about writing, trying new things, making up for lost time, and even that infamous appearance at Oxygen a few years back.You can follow Amanda on Twitter @AmandaJBrunker, and if you'd like to hear the radio play Curiosity you can download it from iTunes, Amazon or Google Play.
