My guests, Kerry Baldwin of Mereliberty.com, Dare to Think Podcast and The Reformed Libertarians Podcast, and her co-host, Gregory Baus, discuss the topic of Christian Nationalism. We talk about the ideology as well as its implications to us as believers and how it causes brokenness in the church and in our lives individually.

Kerry Baldwin is an independent researcher and writer with a B.A. in Philosophy from Arizona State University. She is the co-author of Faith Seeking Freedom: Libertarian Christian Answers to Tough Questions. In addition to her content and courses here on MereLiberty.com, She’s also a regular contributor for the Libertarian Christian Institute.

Her writing focuses on libertarian philosophy and reformed theology and aimed at the educated layperson; challenging readers to rethink prevailing paradigms in politics, theology, and culture. She is a confessionally Reformed Christian orthodox Presbyterian in the tradition of J. Gresham Machen (1881 – 1937), an outspoken libertarian and defender of Christian orthodoxy.

She is best known for debating PhD economist Walter Block on the topic of a libertarian view of abortion, wherein she takes a unique yet still prolife, perspective. She is currently in process of articulating a libertarian theory of reproductive rights for submission for peer review.

Gregory Baus is an independent scholar and student of Christian philosophy, a sometimes teacher of English-as-a-second-language. He's lived in 7 countries outside the U.S. He was born and raised largely in Baltimore, Maryland, in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He's now living in the Susquehanna valley of Pennsylvania, and waiting tables to pay the bills.

He attended Covenant College, Redeemer University, audit classes at Westminster Seminary California, attended the Free University Amsterdam, and is presently enrolled in a South African university. He is unmarried, tho an active uncle (to 4 nephews, and a niece).

He is co-host, with Kerry Baldwin, of the Reformed Libertarians Podcast in which they educate listeners to embrace a view of politics, society, and culture from a Reformed perspective.

Some of his personal-hobby interests include: classic art-nouveau style diners, speculative fiction, folk and jazz music.
