Just talking about how the "Child Support" agency got back to me last Wednesday.
I speak about what I have learned in the courtroom as a prose litigant over the years. I understand that there are parents that have a child or children right now, and they are wondering what can be done, right now. The answer is NOTHING American law is on the side of "Child Support" right now. For the future though, file a petition to modify the current order as soon as possible, like tomorrow or this week or something. Then when you are asked about modification then you want that modification to start on the day that the petition was first filed. That is what I did. It was exactly 1 year after I filed that petition, and I was asked in private mediation what I wanted to get done. I highly recommend private mediation because public mediation is a joke. I was only asked about what I needed to get done in private mediation. Public mediation only cared about the $120.00 wasted that I paid That was in addition to the $798.22 I had already paid and the back "Child Support" of over 10K that I also paid and was utter B.S. anyway. The "Child Support" agency will screw you over as a parent, and the "Family" court system will knowingly help them do it.
