It's that time of the week again for another episode of The Chronicle, the official film podcast for The Peoples Movies. In Episode 017, I will review the horror film "Cobweb" from Lionsgate Films. The film stars Woody Norman (known for "C'Mon, C'Mon," where he appeared alongside Joaquin Phoenix) as Peter, a quiet boy who begins hearing knocking sounds followed by a girl's voice speaking to him. She reveals her identity and expresses a desire to be Peter's friend. Peter, who has no friends and is being bullied at school, is advised by the girl not to heed his parents' words (played by Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr), who claim that everything is a product of his imagination. Are Peter's parents concealing a dark family secret? Who or what is Peter really communicating with?

Denzel Washington reprises his role once again as our vigilante maestro, Robert McColl. After a near-death experience in Italy, Robert finds himself recovering in the small, picturesque town of Altomonte in Campania. He quickly grows fond of the community spirit there. However, how long will that peace last as the local mafia, The Camorra, terrorizes the population? Robert must once again seek justice for the oppressed before he can retire.
