Dr. Barbara Corkey is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Biochemistry at Boston University. Over her prolific and outstanding academic career she went deep into the mechanics of metabolic disease. Along the way, she stumbled upon some shocking insight about the nature of obesity as she watched the epidemic unfold in real time.
