In this Parasha we see the Jewish people expressing a desire for meat while reminiscing on “the good old days” and Moshe putting up his hands in surrender, “ am I their mother?! I'd rather be dead than lead this nation!”
What is the deal with this drama? This isn't the first time the nation has complained or erred. And Moshe has intervened on the people's behalf for much greater things than the desire for meat!
In order to understand this, we need to understand DESIRE.
