The Foamy Heads visit Ryan Jensen of Marrowbone Creek Brewing Co! Ryan was kind enough to invite us down to the brewery on his day off to give us a private walkthrough and beer tasting.
Beers Consumed:
1) Barrel Conditioned Puzzel Fool's Gold: 1yr anniversary release of their Belgian Strong Golden Ale, clocking in at an 8.3% ABV
2) First Bloom American IPA: 6.2% ABV easy drinking IPA that brings nice floral notes (which Rich can't pick out, apparently)
3) Wintervakantie: Spiced winter Belgian, sitting at a nice 7.2%
4) Stone Heart Stout: another 1yr anniversary release, bringing the heat with a "10.1%" ABV
Lightning Round Bottle Share Beer:
Southern Grist Batch One Theory: 6th anniversary Cake. 13.5% Double Pastry Stout that's too big to handle solo! Thank goodness there were 3 of us so that we could tackle this bottle together. This was our appreciation gift to Ryan for his hospitality.
