As the Hollywood writer's strike official concludes with a solid deal and the SAG-AFTRA strike hopefully soon to follow, the guys examine the undeniable mark the strike has left, not just on Hollywood and filmmaking, but on the entertainment industry as a whole. Ryan become giddy when he learns Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 tanked at the box office and spends several minutes relishing in such. After that, it's on to the headlines, including projects resuming as the writer's strike ends including late night talk shows, Heels gets the chair shot and is cancelled at Starz, fans calling Ahsoka a better direction for Star Wars than the sequel trilogy, a shaky reaction from fans of Masters of the Universe as the first clip of the new season drops, a possible sale of Miramax's rights to the Halloween franchise and much more!
Also, a new Dick Tracy comic title on the way, 2 new categories for the Golden Globes, a new trailer for Henry Cavill's spy series Argyle, and a new book based on the "Firefly Trilogy" from Rob Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, 3 From Hell).
