Renan is a vet turned farrier, working in Brazil, whose mentor Kako Moraes is an old friend of mine. I saw him shoeing with Kako while I was there, and he also was an interpreter for a lecture I gave. We talked about his journey to becoming a farrier in Brazil, farriery schools in the USA, foot mapping, laminitics, and lots more.
