Create content with the community in mind. Put out videos that your end consumer will like to see. Every local brand should create content for their niche that will either provide value or entertain their audience. Do this regularly at scale to turn a one-time viewer into an active and engaged community member for your brand. Feature your customers in your content. Show real-life examples of your product/service in motion. Social Media Marketing is the greatest blessing bestowed upon businesses in the history of forever. With the ability to accurately target audiences and create contextual advertisements for them, the upward potential for all brands and companies is astronomical. There is absolutely no reason why any business should not take full advantage of the opportunity we have at hand. Literally, your end consumer is only a few taps away. People would've killed to have the capabilities we have today. Yet, people take it for granted. Social media advertising has had its run for the past decade, and it is declining. The opportunity simply is not as good as it was a few years back, but it is still miles ahead of any other form of marketing and advertising. There is still plenty of juice left in paid reach on Facebook and Instagram and organic reach on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Consumers always want to feel like they are making the right buying decision. They hedge their unsurety of your product or service with testimonials from your previous clients. A lack of reviews on your website, Facebook page, Google search results, Yelp page, Amazon listings, etc. are hurting your business. Trust is a key component of the consumer buying process. The best way to build trust is through customer reviews and testimonials. Consumers want transparency. Make the effort in acquiring as many reviews from your previous customers as you can. Be creative with your review requests. Ask customers to post photos or videos of your product/service on Instagram and to tag your company in them. Invite them to your facility for a staged testimonial. Have them write a written testimonial by simply replying to your automated email campaign. If you cannot afford 24/7 live customer service, then you need chatbots to help your potential customers/clients navigate your website, subscribe for updates, enter contact info, and see more information about your products/services. The capabilities of chatbots are only limited by the programmer's imagination. You can use chatbots on facebook messenger as its own marketing campaign. You can request phone numbers and email addresses for your regular marketing campaigns. You can alert customers of new videos/ articles that you post. You can direct customers to your social media pages. You can direct customers to specific pages on your website. You can use the chatbot as a signup form. And much more. The average customer has to see your product or service at least 7 times before making a purchase decision. If your business is not collecting the necessary contact information from your potential customers to retarget them with content, your customer will forget about you. It is 100% necessary for your business to request at least one form of contact info from each and every customer (past, present, and future). Email addresses, cell phone numbers, and Instagram handles are the most valuable contacts to have for your customers.
