Hey Friend,
Have you ever gone to an art museum and walk slowly around looking at all of the paintings? It's beautiful. People are talented. I love the stormy paintings -- the ones where the dark and the light, the harsh colors and brushstrokes contrast with the airy clouds or the beautiful lightness because it reminds me of life. Is it that art reflects life? Because art reflects life to me. Life is more than just one note colors on a canvas. Life is full of dark parts and light parts and harsh lines and soft brushstrokes and that is the reality. So if you're in the middle of a season where the light is a beautiful and bright and soft, or if you're in a season where the brushstrokes are heavy darkness feels hard,and it feels harsh and strong -- I want to encourage you. A full life reflects both of those realities and the painting is beautiful because of the contrast. And your life is beautiful too. The dark never lasts forever.
