Music is hope. Music is peace. Music is invigorating... inspirational and soothing. Tonight, we interviewed Bruce Farrell, musician, friend, inspiration, and severe head trauma recoverer. Bruce tells us about his history in the local Detroit music scene, his passion and joy in performing his craft in front of others - and the struggle to play again when his body wouldn't let him. We barely scratched the surface of an amazing story of recovery through the love of music and performance. There is such a rich history of musical artists in Detroit. The struggles, the victories - this show barely touched on any of them - except for one man (Bruce) who's passion for the art brought him back from the brink. Give this one a solid listen. Not only is it a good story, but Eric and I were ACTUALLY almost prepared for this one. We spent more time working on this show than any show before - so that's saying something.
