Selina Joy McCloskey, a 22-year-old from Newcastle, NSW, embodies a spirit of radiating joy and resilience. Her unique early education experience, attending a preschool for the deaf and blind as an abled person, cultivated an appreciation for life's opportunities and inspired a dedication to giving back. To date, Selina's volunteer work with numerous charities has contributed to raising over $500,000.
Currently pursuing a dual degree in Business and Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Newcastle, Selina is committed to empowering women in the realm of business. As a budding entrepreneur, she's merging her love for fashion with her commitment to sustainability by developing her own fashion hiring company.
Selina's fervor extends beyond academics and entrepreneurship into sports. A skilled basketball player, she received numerous scholarships and has played at college level in Texas and Kansas. Furthermore, she is actively participating in Miss Grand Australia, reflecting her commitment to challenge stereotypes and inspire women to confidently lead their own futures.
A firm believer in the adage "If you can dream it, you can do it," Selina McCloskey is a model of commitment, passion, and resilience, living out her dreams and inspiring others to do the same.
