I recently had the opportunity to chat with Brendan Ives; owner and operator of a new boutique outdoor retail store in Annandale, NSW, called the Adventure Collective. After travelling for 10 years and also having started an overland adventure company that taught him the best of the best, Brendan's aim isn't to compete with the larger outdoor retail stores in the Sydney market but to offer a point of difference for outdoor enthusiasts in his area.
