28 - Intuitive Kids: Then & Now with Emily Barnard
Manage episode 410208900 series 3478860
Welcome to Intuitive Kids: Then & Now. In this sub series, I'll be chatting with experienced intuitives, mediums, and psychics about their childhood experiences with intuition and psychic abilities. Through these conversations, I aim to offer a sense of community and reassurance to you, the listeners that you're not alone on your spiritual journey. I hope you enjoy!
Today my guest is Emily Barnard. Emily is an Astrologist, Medium, Akashic Records reader and Intuitive Alignment mentor. She hosts a podcast called “Things That Make You Go Woo.” And she also has a membership called Third Eye Library. What I love about Emily is that she breaks down astrology in a way that is easy to understand.
During our interview we discuss:
- Emily’s childhood experiences and intuition, including vivid dreams, feelings of being watched, and brief moments of consciousness separation from her body.
- How she struggled to fit in but found solace in nature and creativity.
- How she wished she had been braver sharing her experiences with her parents and fully embracing her gifts
- Advice for her younger self
- How she was able to use astrology to bridge the woo and the mainstream
- How to support intuitive children by:
- empowering their curiosity
- prioritizing feeling heard instead of dismissing their fears
- seeking trusted guidance
- room makeovers and energy
- Finding community and understanding
- Connection with animals
- Emily also mentions the church she attended in her youth, MileHi Church and it's founder, Ernest Holmes.
