Ever wondered why I keep posting on YouTube, even with such lackluster results? In this episode, I dive into the reasons behind persisting in the face of minimal traction.

From my humble beginnings on this channel over a decade ago to the present day, I've only managed to gather a modest following, despite hundreds of videos and years of effort. So why do I continue? Let's explore.

Firstly, YouTube isn't my primary platform. I'm primarily focused on short-form content and refocusing on Facebook. YouTube is more of a supplementary platform for me, a convenient place to host video versions of my podcast episodes.

While I've made some tweaks over the years, I haven't dedicated much time to studying or improving my YouTube strategy. SEO, for example, is an area I could pay more attention to, but my bandwidth is maxed out with other priorities.

However, despite the lack of immediate results, there are valuable reasons I persist:

  1. Processing Thoughts: Sharing content on YouTube helps me organize and understand my thoughts better. If I can explain it to you, I understand it myself.
  2. More Content: YouTube provides additional content that reaches a few more people each week. Plus, I can repurpose videos for other platforms, maximizing my reach.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Most importantly, showing up regularly, regardless of results, makes me better. It improves my ability to communicate and refine my content creation process.

Sure, my YouTube channel isn't exploding with views, but the benefits extend far beyond metrics. It's about the journey of improvement, the practice, and the growth that comes with persistence.

Join me as I discuss why showing up, even when the results aren't what we hope for, is key to long-term success. Whether you're struggling with YouTube, a business venture, or personal goals, remember: progress often comes in small, unseen steps. Keep showing up, keep improving, and success will follow.

Tune in to this episode for insights, motivation, and a reminder that consistency pays off in unexpected ways.
