Change your money mindset to improve your relationship with money
Manage episode 408961607 series 3558565
How do you feel about money? Would you like to change your mindset about money to improve your relationship with it? If yes, you are not alone. Many people struggle with money mindset and need to improve their relationship with money. Past experiences, things you've been taught, trauma, and even your family's relationship with money can influence your money mindset and, therefore, your relationship with it.
Navigating money mindsetYou can make more of it when you believe you are safe and capable of making money. Hannah teaches that money is an expression of love. When people pay you, they express love and gratitude for what you have done for them. Why might your past experiences with money be a good thing for you to recognize that you need help and can change your money mindset?
How do you manifest money? You work for it. Once you receive it, you can manage it, grow it through investments, and continue to make more of it.
We must recognize that we are not to idolize money but to work hard.
Money is an expression of appreciation and love. For example, in years past, there was a barter system. People worked hard to be able to have things to trade with.
Working hard is an honor and a pleasure. Working and being paid is accepting love. Paying someone else is giving love. Giving money is giving love. Money can be considered an exchange of love and appreciation.
Change your money mindset to see money as an exchange of love and appreciation and improve your relationship with money. Doing so will help you spend money more graciously and be a better receiver of money.
If money went away tomorrow, humanity would come up with another form of something to exchange to express love and appreciation.
A form of gratitudeWhen you pay someone money, you express gratitude, love, and appreciation. As service providers, coaches, etc., you are providing a service, sharing your knowledge, and giving of yourself to help someone else. Accepting payment is allowing someone else to express gratitude for what you have done to help someone by sharing your knowledge that you probably paid for to some extent.
Change your money mindset to one of abundance. In her book Wealth From Within, Hanna defines abundance as the joy of rolling up your sleeves, getting your hands dirty, and working away until time and space slip away. Abundance is the energetic state of plenty, overflow, and richness that reminds you that there will always be more money to create, more opportunities to act on, and more expansion to experience. You will fully understand that the journey is a gift, even though the financial resources you are creating in the process are wonderful, too.
