**Content warning: this episode contains sensitive content, listener discretion is advised**In this episode of the Sound of Black and Brown “#Justice4JohnDiaz” we have a very special guest, a comrade, Black Queen in the fight who will share her story, and the story of her son John Diaz who is serving time at Souza Baranowski Correctional Center, Shirley Mass. Leonna Brando has been fighting for her incarcerated son’s rights for over 20 years, and this weekend she was once again abruptly denied her right to contact him. She has not been able to see her son in 10 years. Why? We already know they will let him know she was supposed to visit, and we should recognize why that mental torment is not just wicked but one of many tools to maintain the slavery. Who stays in control? Aaron Hernandez, an NFL player is the most famous person who died at this facility and many say, it was NOT a suicide. But yet, some still believe in this ‘system’. If you haven't yet check us out here https://linktr.ee/blackbrownunitedinaction your solidarity is greatly appreciated 🫵🏽✊🏾✊🏿!

Call or email the Attorney General Andrea Campbell (617) 727-2200 and the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center (978) 514-6500 ask her why is Leonna Brando not allowed to visit her son? Where is the equity? Call and contact these offices, and ask questions, because we need answers
