In the latest episode of “The Spotlight Series – Don’t just survive, thrive”, Nicola Steel talks to Jeff Jaraved & Taryn Syratt. Jeff & Taryn are Co-Founders of a startup called CAASie. CAASie stands for Contextually Aware Advertising System and is an online pay for click advertising model which is revolutionising the billboard industry.

In this episode, they discuss Jeff & Taryn’s non-linear journeys into the world of tech startups. Jeff started with his childhood passion for space and rockets which led to a PhD in Drones and Robotics then branding and eventually CAASie! Taryn from genetics to marketing to tech startup

Jeff & Taryn are co-founders and also life partners which makes life easier but also more difficult. They really understand the pressure & passion for CAASie but as a result they spend very little time apart. The main challenges they have faced is overcoming Imposter Syndrome and projecting confidence to potential clients to gain their trust. The end goal is to grow the user base and team and make CAASie a fun and quirky SaaS platform which becomes a household name.

Nicola recorded this episode from home & there were several technical problems which was compounded by her dog barking! As a result, there is a lot of editing which sounds like they are interrupting each other!
