Today on the podcast we hear from Joelle Y. Jean, RN, FNP-C who graduated from New York University in 2005 and worked in general pediatrics, pediatric emergency room, and labor and delivery. She was a nurse for over 10 years before aquiring her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Long Island University. She now is a full-time senior writer for nursejournal.org. She shares her journey to finding nurse writing and how that simple decision to “JUST GO FOR IT” allowed her to care for her family and work remotely during COVID.
