We have all experienced it at some point in our lives, a sense of doubt and questioning even though we have all the skills, knowledge and education. Imposter syndrome is not believing in yourself - your capabilities and competencies. It is an internal fear of being unmasked despite your achievements and potential. This internal turmoil which is not gender limited can have more devastating consequences on women in the work or educational setting. It is said that men boldly camouflage their imposter syndrome whilst women are more apt to acknowledge it. Regardless of the circumstances, imposter syndrome presents in multiple ways and can affect performance, self-confidence, curiosity, motivation and a sense of well-being amongst others. In this episode of Thinking Reimagined®️, Amal Hassan (Technopreneur & Founder, Outsource Global), Benny Finisher (Poet and Writer, Menace), Dr. Ama (Founder, Allied Empowerment®️ & Live Abundantly®️) and Nifemi Oguntoye earnestly discuss the nuances of Imposter Syndrone, strategies to combat imposter syndrome, the need to celebrate successes however small and develop the resilience to cope with this know enemy within - imposter syndrome. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinking-reimagined/message
