Reconstruction and the Spanish American War Part 2
Why did we send troops to fight the Spanish in Cuba, of all places? Had they attacked us? This was our first declared war in which we fought an enemy overseas. What were the results and how did they significantly affect not only a future, dynamic president, but our standing in the 20th century.
