E053 - REVOLUTION IN MOTION Chapter 1 - The Revolution is upon us. On March 29, 2024 The Disco Biscuits will release their long-awaited concept album, REVOLUTION IN MOTION. Touchdowns All Day is proud to present the debut of a four-part series exploring the history and mythology of the band’s long-awaited “Space Opera.” Max, Jon Barber, and Joey Friedman reunite at Barber’s studio and set the controls for the heart of Polyfuzia, a planet inhabited by a race of intergalactic explorers powered by pure electricity. After delving into the origins of Barber’s and Joey’s creative partnership, they walk us through the opera’s first four songs: SHOCKED, THE WORMHOLE, TWISTED IN THE ROAD, and ANOTHER PLAN OF ATTACK. Barber and Joey introduce the saga’s cast of characters, unpack the meanings behind their lyrics, and trace the evolution of the opera’s first four songs from their earliest demos through their fully-realized final forms. Think of it as a director’s commentary track for the album…and it’s only available on Touchdowns All Day.

REVOLUTION IN MOTION will be available wherever you stream or download music on March 29, 2024. Prior to that, the band will release a series of animated mini movies introducing viewers to the world of Polyfuzia, Fuzzies, Space Trains, royal family drama, and the Freeze of Times Square.
