Rev. John Greer explains the doctrine of the Trinity- in the Godhead there be three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Father is of none, neither begotten, nor proceeding- the Son is eternally begotten of the Father- the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.--The following points are discussed---- The Trinity can be found in certain statements that cannot be understood any other way -Genesis 1.26-.-- The Bible states that God is one God -Deuteronomy 6.4-.-- The Bible makes it clear that there are three persons in the Godhead -Isaiah 48-.--The message concludes by looking at 1 Peter 1.2, 'Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ- Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.'
