Join Katie and Liz on this week's episode of True Crime New England as they discuss a violent rampage one man caused over Labor Day weekend in 2006. The Black Bear Bed & Breakfast in Newry, Maine was owned by 65-year-old Julie Bullard, who opted to put the inn up for sale in February of 2006. While she was figuring out the logistics of selling the property, she had two tenants living in her inn. On the aforementioned holiday weekend, one of these tenants, 31-year-old Christian Nielsen, went down a spiral of violence and poor reasoning and killed 4 people, including Julie Bullard. Christian confessed to the murders immediately, and by October of 2007, he was charged with four counts of murder and subsequently sentenced to four life sentences in prison, where he remains to this day. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/truecrimene/support
