As part of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Somali National Museum and the UN organised an art competition. The exhibition featuring the paintings by the finalists is open to the public at the National Museum in Mogadishu. The first guest is the winner of the art competition, Salman Osman Sharif. He talks about the power of art and how he employs his talent to highlight human rights challenges in Somalia. We also hear from Kirsten Young, Head of UNSOM’s Human Rights and Protection Group.
