Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra
If you're a music lover, enjoy playing an instrument, and live in the Ashmore area, you'll be happy to know that the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking new members. Check out their website to learn more view their current vacancies in strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion.

Gold Coast City Choir

The Drama Merchant - Readers Theatre Class - Toad's Tales
If you're looking for an exciting after school extracurricular activity in the Mermaid Beach area then consider The Drama Merchant's Readers Theatre Class: The Storytellers. Classes will be held at Q.W.C.A Hall in Mermaid Beach, starting from Wednesday the 7th of February, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Javeenbah Theatre - 35MM: A Musical Exhibition
This stunning show runs from February 3 to February 17, and tickets can be purchased here and keep an eye out for updates via their Facebook page. Tugun Theatre Company - Auditions - The Haunting
If you're interested in auditioning for this two-hander or working behind the scenes as a sound effects artist to add some atmosphere to the set, auditions will take place on Monday, February 5th at 7:00 pm at the Kirra Hill Community and Cultural Centre located on 1 Garrick St, Coolangatta. Murwillumbah Theatre Company- The Man from Earth
Written by Jerome Bixby, this intriguing play tells the story of John Oldman, a university professor who claims he is over 14,000 years old. Bixby, who also wrote the "Requiem for Methuselah" episode of Star Trek in 1969, incorporates similar concepts in this play. The Murwillumbah Youth Theatre is the youth-oriented branch of Murwillumbah Theatre Company Inc. Enrolments are open for their 2024 classes, which commence on 15 February 2024. Class sizes are limited to 12, and are held weekly during school terms on Thursday afternoons at the Murwillumbah Community Centre. The cost of each class is $10 per week. Ballina Players - Are you being served
Directed by Fran Legge, the motley crew of the Grace Brothers department store will come to life on stage in just over seven weeks
