Then to follow that up with four years at House of Highlights, getting the opportunity to travel across the country to cover the game of basketball... talk about a dream come true.

However, at some point, it becomes time to spread your wings, and begin to build that empire of your own. We sat down with Jessica Camille to discuss what life has been like since entering her free agency era after leaving House of Highlights to be her own boss.

We discuss the process of securing clients and new job opportunities as a freelancer, the great debate between going corporate vs. building your own brand as a creator, as well as some of the risks and rewards that are associated with both.

We have a wholesome discussion around the importance of building genuine community, and finding friends in the industry who don't gatekeep opportunities, but rather try to lift you up & find ways to support you.
