LISTENER REQUEST! It was January 15th of 1919 in Boston Mass. when a collective nightmare became reality - a terrible dream where you try desperately to run, only to have your breathing labored and your movements feel unnaturally slow as though you’re running through water… or maybe molasses. It was an average afternoon on this January day, and the people of Keany Square were going about their business. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and a deep rumble filled the air. An earthquake? Some may have wondered - before the screeching sound of metal tearing, and a BANG like a thunderclap. Then there it was - a sticky brown tsunami wave moving with uncanny speed; pulling people and animals down and filling their lungs with goo. The more people struggled to escape, the deeper they seemed to be pulled under.
