Today we continue our series called The Essentials: Why Truth Matters. Looking further into the book of John, we take a hard look at verses that support our belief that “He suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.” Jesus’s death is one of the most famous deaths in history, but do we truly understand the weight of what His death meant?
