Have you ever heard of the story of the two wolves?
During this episode, Wendy shares this timeless tale that has been passed down from generation to generation. The story of the two wolves is a Cherokee indigenous tale about two wolves who are in a daily struggle.

Picture this: within each person resides two wolves—an embodiment of contrasting characteristics. On one hand, there's a calm, loving and confident wolf. On the other hand, there's an angry, uncertain and fearful wolf. Wendy emphasizes that every thought we entertain, whether consciously or subconsciously, FEEDS one of these wolves. If we indulge in thoughts of fear, uncertainty, doubt, shame, or guilt, we nourish the fearful wolf. Conversely, when we focus on thoughts and emotions of confidence, courage, worthiness, love, and gratitude, we nurture the confident and loving wolf.

By being consciously aware of our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions, we can make deliberate choices. Wendy explains that we have the ability to decide which wolf we want to feed the most, not just today but every single day. She emphasizes that we cannot entirely eliminate the fearful wolf, but we can decide whether to offer it a substantial meal or merely a small side salad. At the center of our journey is consciously selecting the thoughts we entertain throughout the day and, in turn, the wolf we choose to nourish.
Wendy also explores how society often contributes to feeding our fearful wolf. The constant stream of negativity we find all around us can intensify our fears and anxieties.
Through heightened awareness, we can make a conscientious effort to feed our confident, loving, and patient wolf more frequently.

Wendy emphasizes that society doesn't always teach us to prioritize the nourishment of our confident wolf, which is why we need to make a deliberate decision to do so. She assigns a GROWTH WORK assignment at the end of the podcast to help connect with both wolves.
On this episode, Wendy explains:
• The American Indian tale of the two wolves, symbolizes the internal struggle between fear/doubt and confidence/love.
• The importance of self-awareness in feeding the desired wolf through thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions.
• The significance of acknowledging and integrating all parts of oneself for healing and conscious awareness, even our fearful wolf.
• The role society plays in which wolf we feed the most
• How consciously feeding our confident wolf will lead to feeling more confident in our day to day life.
