Jim Gone 4 50. Part One.

James Douglas Morrison. I have so much to say about this man, he has unknowingly guided my life since I was in high school.

This special is a labor of love as we remember Jim Morrison on the so called 50th anniversary of his death.

In this episode we hear from those who knew him best, including The Doors them selves, Ray, Robby, and John. Also Danny Sugerman. Then we hear James on Jim. And what I believe was one of the most important legal cases against music in history.

This culmination of audio interviews was given to the world by Jim Ladd, Mike Lazar, Geoffrey Cannon, Howard Smith, Bob Chorush, and Salli Stevenson. With the man himself, Mr. Mojo Risin.

And on a personal note, the spirit of this rock star, dionysus, shaman, poet, or what ever you choose to call him, he was and is still a major part of my life, and believe it or not one of the reasons I find myself in Venice California. So this special is been in the making for close to 40 years of my life, and it still continues.

So thank you, for letting me indulge you with one of my passions in life.

The truth is out there.
