X gonna give it to ya in more ways than one. The 2022 Ti West slasher asks us to put our keys in a bowl and see where a hot night in 1979 Texas takes us. Sex and horror are hardly strange bed fellows, but this film manages to put a whole new spin on it. Co-hosts Jamie Roberts and Robert Lendrum talk about the theme of aging and regret. Does this slasher reimagine the genre? Does it check every box and fill every hole? Do all hilly billy murderers have skin problems? Old people have never been more gross in a film that challenges our comfort levels and demands the audience deal with the fact that old people like to f#@!
