Kim Tranquada is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 27 years of clinical practice, executive leadership, mentorship, and coaching.
She is the founder and CEO of the Healthcare Alliance For An Equitable World (HAEW), an organization dedicated to providing international tele-consultations that deliver critical healthcare services and strengthen local healthcare infrastructures. HAEW fosters a global network of support and resilience with a mission to decrease human suffering and uplift the dignity of all people through equitable healthcare. Dr. Tranquada envisions a world where healthcare is shared without borders, healthcare professionals are united in a global alliance serving with passion and purpose, and all people have access to a life of opportunity.
Dr. Tranquada also hosts the Voices of Healthcare Equity Podcast. On this podcast, leading innovators and public health advocates from across the globe share their stories and insights on the current state of healthcare equity and their solutions for creating a more equitable healthcare future.
