Dr. Doug Brown is an emergency physician and expert in wilderness medicine and mountain rescue with a special career focus on hypothermic cardiac arrest. He has been instrumental in building the rescue and resuscitation practices in Vancouver region of Canada and has published his work in the New England Journal of Medicine.
