Simeon Gipson took time off the bike to talk to us about using the bike to beat diabetes, racing competitively at the age of 78, riding 1,100 miles alone from Oklahoma to Pittsburgh to race at the National Senior Games, riding to inspire others, and as a Native American,the support of the Cherokee Nation. Sue Hlavacek, President & CEO of the National Senior Games Association was also on the line to tell us about this incredible organization that inspires so many seniors to stay active and provides an opportunity to compete in 26 different sports.
