Today, we are going to cover why grieving is necessary for healing from trauma. Most don't think of grieving as being part of trauma healing. They usually only associate it with the loss of a loved one. I know how hard it is to live with PTSD symptoms. We will discuss how grief applies as well as three things you can do to begin the process.
Following the discussion will be an interview recorded from prior to the rebranding of the podcast with Shaazia Terry and how she was able to turn pain into purpose after the loss of her mom.
