In October, we celebrated National Disability Employment Awareness Month, speaking to people with paralysis about their careers post-injury. In this interview, we chatted with Doug Maurer, a paraplegic of over 40 years who has an amazing career in computer programming. Originally from Wisconsin, he lives in South Carolina with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
