Perimenopausal, Aboriginal, Powerful: A Story of Remembering
Manage episode 299603102 series 2968588
Carrying the DNA of Mungo Man and Woman - the oldest known human bones ever discovered - Kaz Ross has the 'knowing' of human connection and consciousness running through her blood. Currently living on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Kaz Ross remembers a childhood filled with lessons of culture, river stories, the removal and displacement of children, of cultures converging and the unique experience of growing up in a children's home WITHOUT being a ward of the state.
Finding her hormonal wisdom along the way has been a process of feeling, listening and observing, of growing the strength of her steady fire within to share the stories that need to be heard by those that need to hear them.
It is an honour and privilege to sit in conversation with Kaz Ross, Mutti Mutti woman, a bridge between two worlds, the flow of many rivers.
