As the Prophetic Word of God continues to unfold before us, we have just witnessed an unprecedented presidential election take place, that has some people feeling exhilarated, and others on the brink of despair. And yet – in the final analysis – it is the Lord God Almighty Who is in complete control. And He alone is the One, Who knowing the end from the beginning – has written the final chapter and recorded it in eternity’s annals.

And in that perfect and settled in heaven foreknowledge, Daniel 2:21 decrees that “It is He Who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and established kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, and knowledge to men of understanding.”

Scripture also confirms that the Lord allows good kings and bad kings to rule in order to accomplish His perfect purposes.

That Scriptural certainty holds within it a strong word of caution to those who name themselves “Christian” to be certain we are keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus – and not man – and that we are looking to His Prophetic Word of Truth to guide us as we test all things with diligence and in readiness for His Soon Return!
