In this episode we are joined by Shahanaz Rahman, she has a background in Psychology and is lead of the Survivors Together Project which seeks to support female survivors of sexual abuse.
Women who have experienced sexual abuse are not victims but survivors. This is at the core of the organisation, where survivors come together to engage in conversation, build friendships and a strong support network to manage emotions and build a future.
Tune in as we learn and unpack the forms of sexual abuse, the tell-tale signs in young people who are a casualty of this and a personal take on supporting one another.
