Bruce Tift was a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He taught at Naropa University for twenty-five years (A Buddhist inspired non-sectarian University rooted in contemplative education combines both East and West), worked in a psychiatric ward and worked as a family therapist with social services. He is long time meditation practitioner, over 40 years, and had the good fortune to be a student of the late Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and to meet a number of realized teachers.
