On this week’s episode of Reset, Renew, Revive, I am joined by celebrity weight loss coach Stu Schaefer, who helps people put their body into a thermogenic state to burn fat constantly.

After Stu overcame anorexia, he devoted his life to helping others realize they can reset their metabolism, balance their hormones and not be afraid of eating. Stu says that the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting are wrecking people’s bodies by blowing out their thyroid and causing repressed metabolic syndrome. The only way to correct this is to put your body in a thermogenic state, which means eating more of the right foods while exercising less.

When people diet and exercise too much, they shut their bodies down, making them incapable of burning fat. When you put your body in a thermogenic state, you lose cravings, you’re never hungry, you gain energy and you only have to work out 30 – 45 minutes a day.

There are four components of a healthy eating program: mindset, nutrition, weight training and cardio. Applying these four components can help anyone attain their ideal weight.
