How do you begin to adjust when your oldest child leaves the house to start their new journey? I’ve always been close with my daughter, Emma, but I didn’t realize how much our relationship filled my cup until the day she left for college. The daily hugs, late-night conversations, and special little moments just weren’t there anymore, and I could barely take it.
