Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! It's time to catch some gnarly waves along the California coastline with your surf forecast report straight from the National Weather Service.
For all you Malibu Coast enthusiasts, we've got a mix of west and south swells coming in with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. Keep an eye out for some rip currents as the risk level is currently moderate. Water temperatures are hanging out between 52 to 62 degrees, making it ideal for a refreshing surf session. And for Thursday, get ready for surf heights of 3 to 5 feet with a high rip current risk, so surf safely out there!
Ventura County Beaches are looking rad with surf heights of 3 to 5 feet and a high rip current risk situation. The water temperature is a bit warmer here, fluctuating between 56 to 58 degrees, perfect for those looking to catch some waves and soak up the sun. Expect similar conditions on Thursday with surf heights ranging from 3 to 6 feet. Just remember to be cautious of those rip currents!
Moving on to Santa Barbara County, we've got a mix of surf heights at the West Facing Beaches ranging from 2 to 4 feet and South Facing Beaches around 1 to 2 feet. The rip current risk is at a moderate level, so surfers, stay vigilant out there. Water temperatures are hovering between 57 to 59 degrees, providing a cool but invigorating surfing experience. And on Thursday, anticipate surf heights of 3 to 5 feet with a high rip current risk, so surf smart and ride those waves carefully!
Lastly, for San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, we're looking at some solid surf heights ranging from 6 to 9 feet on Northwest Facing Beaches and 3 to 5 feet on Southwest Facing Beaches. Be on the lookout for those west swells rolling in, along with water temperatures of 55 to 57 degrees. Thursday is shaping up to bring even bigger waves with surf heights from 7 to 10 feet at the Northwest Facing Beaches and 5 to 8 feet at the Southwest Facing Beaches. Make sure to brace yourselves for these epic swells!
So, grab your boards, wax 'em up, and hit the waves while being mindful of those rip currents! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation using artificial intelligence. Thank you for listening. Please subscribe to never miss a Swell!
